Hello All, Thanks to Ed and Rebecca Luhm for recommending Dave Marotz's website this week. Dave's collection of thousands of German Lutheran church records is now linked to the Marquette pages under the churches subject heading. The records Dave has placed on his site so far are from the Ev. Lutheran Church and include the 5 churches in Marquette Co: Crystal Lake (Budsin), Shields (Germania), Mecan, Newton and Springfield. Dave says it is a very small portion of the total records and that he would like to someday continue this project. Added Charles Babcock's biography to the county history page. If you have biographies from the 1890 Portrait and Biographical Album of Green Lake, Marquette and Waushara Counties, Wisconsin and would like to contribute them to the online collection, please contact Joan.
