I am only through my former marriage. He still has great-grandsons, Ronnie and Paul who live there (Paul is still on the original Wade farm) and nurmerous great-great grandchildren. Two great-grandsons, Stuart and Neale live in California. And there is a great-granddaughter, Ethel, in another state. Both Ronnie and Paul have done some genealogy on the Wade family. Sylvester lived in Portage for awhile when he was older and William took over the farm as I understand it. Mabel's notes say that eventually their health was bad enough they had to give up their Portage home and move in with children Just noticed that some of the information I have was written by you. I go back to Moundville each spring to be with an aunt. She and the Wades are friends, live on the same road, all go to the same church etc. etc. I can get addresses and telephone #s If you are interested. The Wades are basically all buried in the church cemetery and I have pictures of some of the tombstones. A great aunt of mine, Mabel Jones kept small notebooks of family histories of the area that might have some additional facts if you haven't seen them. Let me know if I can help.
