Do you know anything about the Potter's Emigration Society. Sylvester was brought over to the US by this society. Our family are decendants of the Wades through Sylvesters daughter Ruth Harriet Wade. Do the Wades ever have family reunions? I do know Sylvester helped build Chicago after the great fire. He was cripples when a team of horses ran away and he was thrown from the wagon.
