She is said to have been b. abt 1797 and died in 1850 in Berlin, Wisconsin. She was first married to Nathaniel Tompkins before 1817 in NY (possibly Westchester or Otsego County) and bore him several children: Samuel Merritt Tompkins b. abt 1821 in Otsego County, NY; William B. Tompkins abt 1817; and Abram Tompkins b. abt 1823. Nathaniel is said to have died in 1827, after which Hannah is said to have married a Henry Spore, who she bore two children, Wesley and Anna Spore. I don't know when she is supposed to have moved west, I presume it was with her second husband. I haven't had any luck in finding the family in the census. Her son, Samuel Tompkins, is said to have lived with his aunt and uncle after his father's death. I don't know if all of her sons by Nathaniel stayed in NY or not. William Tompkins is said to have died in NY. Abram Tompkins may have ended up in Washington State. Any information on Hannah or Henry Spore or their children would be welcome as it might provide a further lead. My line descends from Hannah's son, Samuel, by her first husband. Thanks, Karen Dutton
