His parents were Wilhelm and Henrietta. He was a farmer , residence on Forest St .... can't make out the name of the town, WI. His birthplace was Crystal Lake. Her parents were Carl and Auguste Henke and born in Selchow , Germany. Marriage was 'contracted' in Newton on Nov 15, 1894. Lutheran ceremony 'prounced' by Ed Thiel of Crystal Lake. Witnesses were Ludwig Zelmer and Maria Krenz. Date certified Nov 15, 1894; date registered Dec 13, 1894. (On page 106, #02474, #70). I have since found an obit for the widow of August Zellmer : Mrs. Louise Zellmer (nee Mrs. Gorman, nee Miss Kromery) who died May 1935 if this is of interest to anyone.
