Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Packwaukee, Wi on Saturday, June 20, 1964. Burial was in the Montello [City] Cemetery.. Pall bearers were Albert Miller, Howard Puterbaugh, Russel Eberlein, Wayne Lambert [aka Lammert], Lester Mueller, grandsons-in-law, and Harlin Breezer, great grandson. Bertha Pauline Zarbrook was born of Gottlieb and Augusta Zarbrook, on December 11, 1882. She married Emil Klawitter on May 20, 1900. Born to them were 10 children. They farmed most of their lives in the township of Packwaukee. Survivors are eight daughters, Mrs. Byron Cragin, Mrs. Archie McDougal, Mrs. Ewalt Berg, Mrs. Steward Cotter, all of Montello, Mrs. Walter Johnson of Duluth, MN, Mrs. Willis Ingraham, Mrs. John Erdman, of Packwaukee, and Mrs. Walter Stibb, Oregon, WI. Two sons, Edwin and Herbert of Montello, one brother, Alfred Zarbrook, Oxford, two sisters, Mrs. David Cragin, Montello and Mrs. Paul Zacharias, St. Fairwater; 44 grandchildren; 111 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
