I have a JOHN -JOHANN NANKE m to Henriette Denzin NANKE who left Runau (RUNOWO)POSEN PRUSSIA (GERMANY) 1857ish came to MONTELLO Wi to visit kin on the way to WHAT CHEER , IA. to settle. I find only a Frederick MANKE printed on census pages. Have strong feeling that person is NANKE. Probably John/JOHANN's sibling. Can any one enlighten me further.? IS any of this family still there?
