The Umberger's, providing they were not adopted or something, we related. That's why I was interested in the name 'Samuel'. I was hoping one of your Samuel's sons was named Samuel or related to my Umbarger line. Since you say his wife was born 1844 (I think you said that, hee hee), they would be of the age of my Samuel's parents. He was born March of 1863/1864. I see you listed their children and none of the names are Samuel. There's always the possibility of a connection, could be your Samuel was an uncle or cousin, who knows, but at this point I still can't make a connection. Do you know where your Samuel Umbarger came from, even a hint of the area, even though you don't know his parents names? Birthdate, Birthplace, etc. DNA has proved my Samuel to be an Umbarger/Umberger (He spelled his name Umberger, but his son spelled it Umberger). So according to the DNA Y-Chromesome Male t! est, he is of the Male Umberger line, not by his mother. In otherwords, his father 'was' an Umbarger. I have kept you in my info, and will keep you in mind.
