Oct 12, 1814 in Prussia, d. June 28, 1877 in Shield, buried in Big Mecan Cemetery, Marquette County, WI. He married Jule (aka Julie, Julianna) Modanzen b. Jan 20, 1824, d. Mar 20, 1911. Children: Gottlieb Zarbrook 1856-1928 m. Augusta Jahnke (Yonkie) Wilhelm Zarbrook Aug 1860-1952 m. Auguste Schmidt Wilhelmina Zarbrook 1852-1921 m. Christopher Schuman. I descend from Gottlieb, through daughter Bertha Pauline Zarbrook & Emil Ludwig Klawitter (son of Ludwig Klawitter & Louise Schauer); Herbert Herman Klawitter & Margaret Dorothy Barron (daughter of Raymond Byron Baker Barron & Cora Leonard); Herbert Raymond Klawitter Jr & Judith Koch.
