His name was spelled John Yonkie on this census. The head of the household was Gotlip H. Zarbrook (age 53), and John was listed as Gotlip's father-in-law. Others living in that household were Augusta J. (Gotlip's wife of 32 years as of 1910, age 50), son Alfred (age 17) and daughter Manda (age 13). John's age is given as 74, which fits his birth year of 1825; the 1900 census said he was age 69 and born in 1831 -- so we have a discrepancy here. Jean B.
