Tribune circa 1984 and 1994. Fran stopped writing for the Marquette Tribune circa 1996, but has published many of her articles about Marquette County people, places and events in a series of three books. The referenced articles about the Potter's Society can be found in Fran Sprain's Places and Faces in Marquette County, Wis., Vol. I and Vol. III. Volume III is still available for sale through the Marquette Co. Historical Society.
