Hello Marquette Researchers, There have been some updates in the past few weeks to your Marquette Co. WI site: NEW CONTRIBUTOR Jann Swanson sent a transcription of the 1870 Douglas Twp (Post Office Midland) census. Updated the breakroom page with a poem in honor of old soldiers and a summer recipe. Added three recently taken photos of scenic points of interest in Westfield to the photo album page. Two new 1876 newspaper articles, the school reports for Montello in May and June 1876 have been added to the newspaper articles section. Added a Business Directory of the advertisers from an issue of the Montello Sun, in May 1876. Thanks to CONTRIBUTOR Dan Nickolie for providing the photocopied article.
