Floyd Alexander McFarlin was born Nov. 3, 1905 in the town of Lincoln, Adams County, Wisconsin. He graduated from Westfield High School and with his quiet but pleasant disposition he made friends wherever he went. Floyd leaves to mourn his departure, his bereaved parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex McFarlin; five brothers, Myron, Grant. Lyle, Gordon and Roderick; and one sister, Rose, besides many other relatives and friends who will miss him. He was ill only a short time with pneumonia [copy cut off]...Pallbearers were Claude and Merton Podoll, Sammie McMahon, Kent Zimbeck, Charlie Roller and Ro Cleland. Bernice and E. Johnson acted as flower girls. He was laid to rest in the cemetery at New Chester beside his little brother Claire, who preceded him into eternity...Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Harry Goffe and John Jefferson Sr. from Nekoosa, Eugene Jefferson from Spring Creek, John Jefferson Jr. from Friendship, Hattie Berger, her brother Paul and lady friend from Wisconsin Rapids who were very intimate friends.
