I have been looking for information about my past for quite some time now. My great grand father changed our name from Duesterhoeft to Desterhoft many years ago. My great grand father then disappeared and no one found out what happened to him. I think we have some ties in northern Wisconsin. As far back as I know, my family has lived in the Milwaukee area. I know my name was changed and I am extremely interested in learning more about my family's past. I feel as though I have a lot of family members out there that I have never met. Please reply if you have any information.
