    3. Hello to the list. Anybody out there? All of my family lines converged in Marinette County in the first half of this century. My great-grandparents, Joseph T. and his wife Sarah Ellen (Lewis) SPENCER, moved their family from Chicago to Athelstane in 1907. Their son Ralph Edward SPENCER was with them. Alice (Gormley) BOESEN TAPPAN O'DEAL came to Athelstane from Racine about 1891. My great-grandmother, Mary Ellen BOESEN, was her daughter. Rudolph SEEHAWER, my great-grandfather, came to Athelstane from Germany. He was the town assessor from 1910-1912. He married Mary Ellen BOESEN (above) in 1897. Mary Ellen and Rudolph's daughter, Gertrude SEEHAWER, married Ralph SPENCER (above) in 1917. They were my grandparents. Are these names familiar to anyone else on the list? I am in touch with a Seehawer cousin and a Spencer cousin in Athelstane, but neither of them is on line--yet. One of them has gone through local papers and sent me copies of articles mentioning these names. I'd like to hear from relatives or anyone else who would like to exchange information. I have more information and photos on my Web site at http://www.accutek.com/~lsbusch/family1.htm. I will write a separate message about my mom's side. Laurel Spencer Busch lsbusch@accutek.com
