I seek information about the Deau, Beauvais, and related families who originate in the Marinette and Menominee area. I am especially interested in Deau and Beauvais families who lived in the Marinette and Menominee area around 1900. Specifically, I am interested in the descendants of Alexis [Alexander] Deau and Marie Albine (Clement) Deau who lived in Marinette in 1900. I know they had at least one son, William Deau, who married Rose Beauvais, and had the following children: William Thomas Deau m. Hilda Haack Dorothy Marie Deau m. Peter DuFrane Goldye Albena Deau m. Ellsworth Sickler Fern Catherine Deau m. Edward House Russel Dewey Robert Deau - who changed his last name to Dean and has a daughter named Judy Mildred Bernadette Deau - who was a Roman Catholic nun. I am interested in the descendants of Thomas Beauvais and Marie (Patnaud) Beauvais. They had the following children: Agapit Beauvais Rosina Beauvais Rosa Beauvais m. William [Willy] Deau William Thomas Beauvais married a woman whose first name is Anita Thomas Beauvais, Jr. Gilbert Beauvais married a woman whose first name is Christine and had a child named Sylvia.
