I'm trying to find Peter Bernhart Akre and his wife Inger who came to the US in 1867. Peter died 11 Aug 1882 in Pound, Wisconsin and his wife died about 1893. They also had a son Albert who died about 1921 in Pound. This info was from my grandmother. I have not come across any proof. I haven't been able to find them on the 1880 census. I'm not sure I can even identify Pound on the census. Any ideas? Are there cemeteries in the area that I should begin to correspond with? Thanks for any help.
