POUND —Adolph Lentz, 68 route 2, Pound, died Sunday at Marinette General Hospital after suffering a stroke. Mr. Lentz was engaged in farming and was employed as a woodman in the Pound area until moving to Milwaukee in 1941. There he was employed for 25 years by Hand Lochen Company as a bridge structural ornamental iron worker. After retirement he returned to the Town of Pound in 1967. He was born Oct. 8, 1906, in the Town of Pound and married the former Emma Cudnohufsky on March 17, 1934, in Menominee. He was a member of Section Eight Baptist Church and the Bridge Structural Ornamental Iron Workers Union. Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Murphy of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Kostreva, route 2, Pound; five grandchildren. A daughter preceded him in death. Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata funeral home in Coleman from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Section Eight church. Final rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Gerald Longjohn will officiate and burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery in Pound. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
