The Crivitz Museum sells booklets and calendars with pictures of the area, including pictures of lumber mills, the men, local blacksmith shopes etc. If you want it--they can provide it--for a fee of course. I also found a mention of the Buttler-Mueller plant in my booklet, " Assorted Records of Marinette County-Wisconsin Featuring Crivitz, Beaver, and Pound Villages and Townships. Zech stands out prominently as one of the most important factors in the recent agricultural developement of Marinette County. His colonization work at Crivitz started the ball rolling. In 1895 he purchased the plant of the Butler Mueller Co. at Crivitz and immediately effected a complete metamorphis of the town. and so on. My mother was a Witt from the Crivitz Area.
