Looking for surviving members of the family of Carl WITT. >From the Marinette Eagle-Star Newspaper in Marinette, WI. 1938. His obituary reads: Carl Witt Succumbs in Home Sunday Evening; Rites Wednesday. Carl Witt, 80, of 1138 Daggett Street. Survivors are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Otto Krutz, two stepsons, Henry and Albert Pruschinsky, a brother, Henry Witt, and three grandchildren, all of this city and two sisters in Poland. The remains were taken to the Drefahl funeral Home and will be returned to the family residence Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the residence and at 2 o'clock in the First Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. H.C. Westphal will officiate and interment will be in Forest Home cemetery. This was my great grandmother's brother. I'm hoping to find more information about what became of the rest of the WITT family that stayed in Poland and was ousted to Germany. Do any of these names seem familiar to listmembers? Hopefully some of these people are still living in the area. Thank you, Janet
