Funeral services for Joseph J. Polomis, 54, of Norway, Mi. were held Friday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Church in Norway. Rev. Peter Carli officiated with burial in Norway Township Cemetery. A memorial fund for the American Cancer Society was established. He died Wednesday, April 16 at Anderson Memorial Hospital in Norway. Born Nov. 3, 1931 in Menominee, Mr. Polomis moved from Wausaukee to Norway with his family in 1937. He was a member of St. Mary church. His mother, Myrtle Polomis survives with two sisters, Marie Bal and Sandra Ostwall, all of Norway. A brother, Norman preceded him in death.
