Hi Anne, Are the two obituaries you sent in about Faucetts by any chance members of your family? The reason I ask is I have been researching a Fezatte family that lived in the same area at about the same time period. The names are so similar sounding I started wondering about it. I know that the family I am researching has shown up in various documents as Fizette, Fisette, Fezette, Fezatts, Fezatt, etc. Where the family was asked for information on census records about literacy for the majority of the censuses they are recorded as unable to read and write. If they are part of your family I would love to hear from you and perhaps compare notes. Thanks, Caryl Vehring (pronounced Carol) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anne Taylor-Czaplewski" <czaplewska@aol.com> To: <WIMARINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 13, 2000 6:39 AM Subject: [WIMARINE] Obituary of Martha Caroline FAUCETT > Posted on: Marinette County, WI Obits > Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/MarinetteObits/148 > > Surname: FAUCETT, VIGUE, KOSTREVA > ------------------------- > > Martha Caroline FAUCETT > Marinette Eagle-Star Newspaper > Tuesday, 5 March 1940 > (Courtesy of Pam Pansch) > > MISS FAUCETT DIES IN GROVER > Had Been an Invalid All Her Life, Blind for Last 15 Years > > Miss Martha Caroline Faucett, 22, died at 10:45 Monday morning at home > of parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Faucett, in Grover.
