Nels Lindquist came to America from Sweden in 1854. Arrived in WI in 1857. Was shoemaker. Married in the old country to Anna Grainan. 8 children. Known are : Carl, Gustoph. John O., Peter August, William F. and A. Victor. John O. Lindquist established the firm of Lindquist, Westmon and Campbell a mercantile firm in 1890. He married Maria Westmon in 1862 at Fort Howard, WI. I desscend through John O.'s son Orville and Orville's daughter Sigyn.
