Death followed an illnes of 15 months. The former Myrtle Better was born in Marinette Feb. 8, 1899. With the exception of a short time spend in Kenosha, Escanaba and Goodman, she had lived here most of her life. She married Mr. Cahee at Kenosha on Oct. 14, 1919. Surviving with her husband are one son, William; four daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Mason, Mrs. William Bero, Mrs. George Benoit, and Mrs. Dean Hipke; one brother, Charles Better; two sisters, Mrs. Warren Russell and Mrs. William Weber; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The Very Rev. Omer Champagne will be celebrant of the 9 a.m. requiem mass Thursday in St. Joseph's church. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Friends may call at the McLain-Thielen-Langer funeral home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
