Mrs. Ingborg Hansen died this morning at 10 o'clock at her home in Porterfield of informities of age, she having attained the age of 77 years. The decedent was born in Norway, Europe, and had resided in the county for many years. Her final illness covered a period of one year. She is survived by her husband, Christian Hansen, and three sons, Herman, Aaron and Seth Hansen. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the Norwegian Lutheran church at Walsh, the Rev. L. R. Lund of Peshtigo officiating. Marinette Eagle-Star, Marinette, Marinette County, Wisconsin, Tuesday Evening, December 23, 1915 "Death of Mrs. Christian Hanson" Last Monday evening Mrs. Christian Hanson, an old resident of Walsh, past to her last long rest. Mrs. Hanson was born in Christiansand, Norway, eighty-two years ago. She and her husband came to this country in the early seventies living for a time in Minnesota and in Marinette, and coming to this town nearly forty years ago. She has known all the toils and privations attending pioneer life and has lived to see our town emerge almost from a forest to the present well settled stage. She is survived by her husband and three sons. The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock from the family home and at 1:30 o'clock from the Norwegian Lutheran church. Interment will take place at a local cemetery. Marinette Eagle-Star, Marinette, Marinette County, Wisconsin, Tuesday Evening, December 24, 1915 "Bury Porterfield Woman on Thursday Funeral of Mrs. Christian Hansen is largely Attended, the Rev. L. R. Lund Officiating." The funeral of Mrs. Ingaborg Hansen, wife of Christian Hansen, was held Thursday afternoon from the home in Porterfield at 1 o'clock and from the Norwegian Lutheran church at Walsh at 1:30. The Rev. L. R. Lund of Peshtigo officiated and there was a large attendance. The casket bearers were: Ole Johnson, Ole Sorenson, Andrew Olson, Nels Christensen, Hans Peterson and Andrew Mickelson. Herbert Johnson, Margaret and Paul Sorenson, Annie Robeck, and Bertha Peterson sang three hymns. Interment was made in the cemetery on the Hansen farm. L. D. Martin of this city had charge of the funeral as undertaker and director.
