Polomis, 52, of Lisbon, Iowa died Sunday, June 16 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Miner Funeral Home. A former Norway resident, Mr. Polomis was born Dec. 29, 1932 to Mrs. Myrtle Polomis and the late Joseph Polomis in Wausaukee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. Surviving are his wife, Alice; three sons, Taylor of Minneapolis, David of Ann Arbor and Andrew, at home; a daughter, Julie, at home; his mother and a brother, Joseph of Norway, two sisters, Marie Bal and Sandra Ostwall, also of Norway, several nieces and nephews.
