Polomis, 83, route 2, Wausaukee, died Monday at his home. Mr. Polomis operated a masonry contracting business until his retirement three years ago. He was born Aug. 28, 1888, in Bohemia and came to the United States with his parents at the age of 16. His first wife, the former Clara Heintz died in 1949. He married the former Eleanore Bueatler in 1952. She died on Feb. 7, 1965. Survivors include three sons, Louis of Amberg, Fred of Spokane, Wash., and William of Wausaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence DeGroot of Port Washington, and Mrs. Samuel Wiltshire of Coleman; four brothers, Anton and George of Wausaukee, Joseph of Norway, Mich., and Frank of Marinette; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Duquaine of Green Bay and Mrs. Michael Stajduhar of Wausaukee; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Morasky funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Final rites will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church. The Rev. John McLaughlin will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A parish vigil will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
