    3. Posted on: Marinette County Wi. Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/Marinette/498 Surname: CARRIER, ST LEDGER, LEDGER, LEGER ------------------------- Are your LEDGER ancestors from French Canada during the 1800's? My GGgrandfather, Frank CARRIER, married Anna ST. LEDGER in Canada. They immigrated to the U.S. in August 1867 with my grandfather, John L. CARRIER, who settled in Marinette, Marinette Co., WI. I have found Oconto County records that list Sophie LEGER (or LIGER or TIGER, or TEGER) as widow of the late Frank CARRIER. Frank and Anna, or Sophia, also had a daughter who married George PERKIE; I believe she lived in Oconto, County. Are your Ledger's connected with any of these people. I do not know if Anna, or Sophie, had LEDGER/LEGER family immigrate with her, which may be your LEDGER line.

    3. Robin & Valarie... He descends from his son Jim and Jim's son George and George's son Steve(who it turns out I met last month). The Levi my friend is related to desended from a John Leslie who immigrated to the US from Scotland. My friend is checking on dates and he'll get back to me. ....Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robin" <rjager@ris.net> To: <WIMARINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 01, 2000 4:10 PM Subject: [WIMARINE] Levi Leslie > Posted on: Marinette County Wi.
