Whitney Mrs. Getrude A. Whiney, 77, 816 Manson street, died last night at 8 o'clock at her home after a lingering illness. Rev. Brainard F. Gibbons, pastor of the First Universalist church, will officiate at funeral services Monday agternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ritter & Deutsch funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery. Mrs. Whitney had lived here all her life, having been born in the city February 4, 1872, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lillie. She was married December 4, 1908 in Chicago to Charles E. Whitney, who survives. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Brotherhood of the Railroad Trainmen and the Moose Heart Legion. Surviving are a widower and a sister, Mrs. F. H. Morman, Los Angeles, Cal.
