Heiden, 64, Stratford, who died at 5:35 am Monday in the Emergency Room of St Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, will be at 11am Thursday at St John Lutheran Church (LC_MS), town of Wien, Marathon County. The Rev. Roger R. Moldenhauser will officiate. Mrs.Delores Telschow will be the organist for congregational singing. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield, and his seven sons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be at Sauter/Kundinger Funeral Home, Stratford, from 6-9pm Wednesday and then at the church from 10am until time of service on Thursday. He was born Dec 1, 1928 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Hans and Emma Harms Heiden. He attended public school in Mount Clemens. He served in the US Army during WW2, from Dec 27,1945-June 22,1947. He married Margaret T. Jankowsky at the Lutheran Service Center, Amniston, Alabama. He worked for more than 30 years as a carpenter and also farmed in the Mount Clemens area. He moved to the Stratford area in 1972 and continued to farm in the town of Eau Pleine. He also worked with his sons in the Heiden Drywall and Construction Company until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. John (Laura) Glassford of Marathon, WI, seven sons; Richard of Macomb, Michigan, Raymond of Macomb, Michigan, Steven of Milan, Karl and Mark, both of Stratford, Timothy of Onalaska, WI and Allen of Mondovi; one sister Mrs. Howard (Mickie) Goullette of Port Huron, Michigan; two half sisters, Elizabeth Rose of Warren, Michigan and Marge Gentillo of Boston, Massachusetts; 22 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. His parents, one sister, Margaret Seidel and one granddaughter, Kristie Heiden, who died in 1989, predeceased him.
