John A. Baranowski, 53, 130 Sternberg St., Schofield, was dead on arrival at a Wausau hospital at 5:10 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Schofield. The Rev. Burton E. Stensberg will officiate and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call now at Janssen Funeral Home, Schofield, and at the church from 11:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. Mr. Baranowski was born Feb. 17, 1920, in Fond du Lac, son of Mrs. Sophie Baranowski, Mosinee Route 2, and the late John Baranowski. On Jan. 13, 1947, in Wausau, he was married to Audrey Habeck, who survives. He was employed at Wausau Paper Mills, Brokaw, for 27 years, and was a member of the Quarter Century Club there. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors besides his wife and mother include a son, James, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Edmund Ludwig, Eau Claire, and Nancy and Mary Lou, both at home; two brothers, Elmer, 1204 Grand Ave., Schofield, and David, Mosinee Route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Hiemerl, Athens, and Mrs. Rosella Behr, Town of Rib Mountain; and two grandchildren.
