Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock and at 2oclock at St Stephen’s Lutheran Church with the Rev William Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Minnie Haasch was born October 10,1868 in the town of Stettin and married John L. Staege here in April 1898. He died here in 1920. She had lived here for 65 years and was a member of St Stephen’s Lutheran Church and the church’s ladies’ aid society, the Eagles auxiliary and the Milwaukee Railroad Women’s Club. Surviving her are two sons; John Staege of Rothschild, and Leslie Staege, Nekoosa; a daughter, Mrs. Cash Talarak, Antigo, and nine grandchildren. Wausau Daily Record Herald Feb 27 1943 Funeral services for Mrs.Minne Staege, 74, 712 Jackson Street, who died yesterday morning, will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Helke funeral Home and at 2 o’clock at St Stephen’s Lutheran Church. The Rev William Spiegel will officiate and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. March 1, 1943: Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Staege, 74,712 Jackson Street, who died Friday, were held this afternoon at the Helke funeral home and at St Stephen’s Lutheran church, with the Rev William Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter, John, Dale and Milton Staege and Frank Kieffer and Marvin Zielsdorf.
