William H. Chellis, 56, 1131 McIntosh street, a lifelong resident of Wausau, died at his home yesterday afternoon at 3:40 o'clock after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. J. B. Hauck officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery. The deceased was born in Wausau, August 17, 1878, and was married here in 1904 to Miss Frances Fyrnys. He was a farmer by occupation. He was a member of the Eagles and of the M. W. A. Surviving him are his widow; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Chellis of Wausau, and one sister, Miss Myrtle Chellis of New York.
