Saturday, July 5, at 4 o'clock at the First Reformed church the marriage of Mrs. May Gocha and Edward Gohdes was solemnized, the Rev. Paul Graeser officiating. Miss Aldine Smith and Lyle Calvert attended the couple. The bride wore a frock and hat of gaslight green and carried American beauty roses and sweetpeas and her bridesmaid was attired in pink georgette with hat to match and carried sweet peas and snapdragons. During the evening 75 friends were entertained at an informal dancing party at the home of the bride, 1201 Third street and at midnight a supper was served. Streamers of pink and green and garden flowers decorated the home. Guests from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rutler, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hoffman, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Rutler, all of Eland, Mr. and Mrs. Arno Traas and Floyd Calvert of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Thiele of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Balthozor of Los Angeles, California, and Mr.and Mrs. J. E. Balthozor of Fond du Lac. Mr. and Mrs. Gohdes will reside at 1201 Third street and will be at home immediately to friends.
