Habeck, 89, 713 N. Second Ave., died at a local hospital at 7 a.m. today following a lingering illness. Funeral services are planned for Friday at 3 p.m. to be held at Helke West Chapel. The Rev. David Buzza, past of First Prebyterian Church, will officiate and interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Habeck was born April 9, 1875, in Germany and married the former Anna Miller in Wausau. The deceased was a retired employe of Wisconsin Public Service Corp. Survivors include the widow; two stepsons, Franklin Sann, 713 1/2 N. Second St., and Norman Sann, 131 N. Ninth Ave.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Edward Markofski, 109 N. Sixth Ave., Mrs. William Fuhrman, Alderson St., Schofield, and Mrs. George Distler, Chicago; 16 step-grandchildren, and 22 step-great-grandchildren.
