Mrs. Martha Leonhard, 44, Edgar Route 3, Town of Emmet, died last evening at 7:40 o'clock in a Wausau hospital after ailing for some time. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Halder. The Rev. Herbert J. Hoffman will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Lohr & Novitzke Funeral Home in Edgar, where rosary services will be held tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. Martha Schara was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Edgar, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schara, and married Mars Leonhard June 5, 1940, in Halder. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society. They had lived on a farm in the Town of Emmet since their marriage. Surviving are the widower and a sister and two brothers, Miss Lucille and Henry and Ray Schara, Town of Emmet.
