Mr. O'Konek was born March 2, 1886, in Polonia, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter O'Konek. He married Frances Cherek and she is a survivor. Surviving besides the widow are five daughters, three sons, a sister, 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
