Basinski, 63, who formerly lived on Harrison Boulevard here, died today at 12:05 a.m. in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the Barden-Peterson Funeral Home and at 10 in St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Very Rev. John Krasowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be in the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The Holy Name Society rosary will be said Wednesday at 7 p.m., followed at 7:30 by the parish rosary. Born March 14, 1900, in Wausau, Mr. Basinski was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Basinski. A former employe of the former Wausau Novelty Co., he never married. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Torzewski, 714 Winton St.
