Murdoch, 60, 429 N. Fifth Ave., died this morning at 2:30 o'clock in a local hospital. He had been ailing for some time. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Helke Funeral Home, with the Rev. Justus Olson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the spring. The body will be in the funeral home at 7 o'clock Saturday evening. He was born March 27, 1899, in St. Charles, Mich., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Murdoch. He was at one time manager of the Wilson-Hurd Manufacturing Co. here. He belonged to the Masonic Order in Coshocton, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War I, having served with the U.S. Navy. Survivng are two daughters, Mrs. Orrin Vanderwarker, 804 Prospect Ave., and Mrs. David Plank, 429 N. Fifth Ave.; two brothers, Robert and John Murdoch, both of Coshocton; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Eddy and Mrs. Elizabeth Howell, also of Coshocton, and nine grandchildren.
