Pieper, residents of this city, were united in marriage at 5:00 o'clock last Saturday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Volkman, the Rev. Gustav Fischer, pastor of Salem Lutheran church officiating. Pink and white streamers and baskets of spring flowers decorated the home. The couple was attended by Miss Gertrude Pieper, Miss Verna Gaedtke, Clarence Volkman and Ervin Luedtke all of this city. The bride was attired in a navy blue ensemble of flat crepe and carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley, roses and sweetpeas. Her attendants wore frocks of tan crepe and carried arm bouquets of sweetpeas and roses. Fifty couples were present at the wedding dinner and dancing party which followed the ceremony, those from out of town being Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Towle of Sheboygan Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Posts of Sheboygan Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Volkman of the town of Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Pieper will be at home to friends at 701 1/2 Wausau avenue.
