Lillie Funeral services for Ralph B. Lillie, 1124 Lindbergh Ave., will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Boston Funeral Home. The Rev. John L. Munson of Frame Memorial United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be made in Pine Grove Cemetery at Wausau. Mr. Lillie, 83, retired district manager of Wisconsin Publlic Service Corp., died Thursday night at St. Michael's Hospital. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. on Sunday. The Masonic ritual will be conducted there at 7 o'clock Sunday evening. Mr. Lillie was a member of Evergreen Lodge No. 93, F&AM, Blue Lodge, and Crusade Commandery No. 17, Knights Templar. He also was a member of Berens-Scribner Post No. 6, American Legion. He was born in Wausau on Dec. 29, 1894, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Lillie. He attended schools in the Wausau area and he enlisted in the Navy on May 9, 1918, at Great Lakes, Ill. He served on the U.S.S. Arkansas in World War I and was discharged at Norfolk, Va., on March 3, 1919. He returned to Wausau and started his long period of employment with Wisconsin Public Service Corp. On Aug. 13, 1927, he married Minnie Penn at Wausau and they lived first at Antigo and then came to Stevens Point on Jan. 1, 1928. He had lived here since. He retired on Dec. 31, 1959. Mrs. Lillie died in 1970. Mr. Lillie is survived by one son, Ralph P. Lillie, 2608 Center St.; two grandchildren; a brother, Maurice, Wausau; and a sister, Mrs. Harriet Service, Naples, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and six brothers and sisters. A memorial has been established in his name.
