Married in Hospital Room to Please the Groom's Grandmother An Associated Press dispatch today carries the announcement of the marriage of Raymond E. Johnson, son of Mrs. Minerva Johnson, 512 Stewart avenue, to Miss Elizabeth Bronson of Oshkosh. Because they had promised the bridegroom's grandmother that she would be in attendance at their wedding, the young couple was married in a room at the Methodist hospital at Madison Saturday, July 5. Mrs. Emma Johnson, formerly of this city, who is the bridegroom's grandmother, is confined to that hospital with a broken hip. Because the wedding had been set for that day, the bride and groom made good their pledge with a wedding in the hospital. Many Wausau readers will remember Miss Bronson, who taught the Fourth grade in the Lincoln school in 1925 and 1926.
