We all received the letter from Lorrie about doing research. She did not clear this with me in any way whatsoever. What she did is not legal under rootsweb guidelines. I do not know her, and can not guarantee her work. Rootsweb has removed her letter from the archives and will be contacting her. I do know several researchers whose work I CAN guarantee. Shelley

Marathon County Listers, I apologize....I was not aware that posting to do research for a fee was not legal. I have also sent an apology to Rootsweb. I did not know that I could "clear this with" Shelley. As I told rootsweb, I am very sorry for my error. I have never made a post of this type in the past, and I do not plan to do it again. Shelley does not know me or my work, but in my defense, I CAN guarantee I only had the intention of offering my services in order to help others in the same way many have helped me in the past. I love doing genealogy research and I am very good at what I do! There are some listers I have helped in the past that are aware of my work.
