Thank you for posting the tribute to Kathy Baker, and sharing those last days of her life here on earth with those of us who knew and loved her through her countless efforts to assist us with our genealogy. Over the years, I remember countless times Kathy would search the National Archives for some information I'd asked her to look up and she'd write it all down and send it out to me... only to allow her excitement to get the best of her... and then she'd call me with news of whatever it was that she'd located. I have her many letters in my collection of treasures and will be forever grateful for her part in helping me locate my elusive ancestors. I know too that she was welcomed 'home' by scores of her own ancestors, and I wouldn't doubt that a few of mine showed up for the festivities, grateful to her for helping her friends.
