My Great Granfather was William Gerbenski married to Eva Crawford. They lived at times in Hartland as his family was here, about 1900 they moved to Mosinee, Marathon County, WI. Eva died and the two children were returned to Hartland to be raised by an aunt whose name was LeRoy - They adopted the name LeRoy so the name was changed. The son was my grandfather Gerald LeRoy. I am sure that this is the family you seek. The Gerbenski's were a fairly large family and I do have a good deal of info about them. I am curious as to your conection to this family.
