Mary Jane married Peter Bryon (Ryron)Jessey on 06 Feb 1876 in Knowlton, Wisconsin. The record at Marathon Cty Courthouse in Wausau states he was a carpenter and born in Bredsport, Vermont. Peter Jessey was a Civil War Veteran. They had six known children. One was Lyman Jessey. They divorced.. but I have no dates on this. Both remarried to others, Peter to Margaret Crocker 30 Aug 1893, 4 known children and one surviving in 1916 when Peter died. Mary Jane married a Tom Simons in Langlade Co.in 1895, I don't know if there were children from this marriage and I am still looking for information on where they may have died. Your story is very interesting, I was told thier was some disowning also but it was about Francis Bampton. I would enjoy comparing notes, I also have more information if you are interested.
