All I know is he immigrated with Charley J REINKE b 1863 Marienberg, Western Germany and wife Wilhelmina b 1864 Pomerania, Germany - and were on the 1900 census in Wausau, MarathonCoWI. In Charley's obit, it stated he lived in Milwaukee, WI for 15 years prior to moving to Cloquet, CarltonCoMN. This contradicts the 1900 census which says, he, Wilhelmina, and Emil immigrated in 1891. If either of you are related to August Kuehl of Colby, Wisconsin, then we are relatives. (If not, please advise any other information you may have about his involvement in Colby City government. I am the second son/child of Melvin Kenneth Kuehl (1922-1993) Kenosha, WI, who was the only child of William August Kuehl (1883-1958) Waukegan, IL, who was one of two (or 3, I'll find out) children of August Wilhelm Kuehl, Colby, WI who emigrated from "Prussia" (as stated on his immigragtion papers) in 1867. My family understood that he was a tailor by profession. However, what I've just given you is off the top of my head, since I found your photo while at work.
