His name was Louis Eisold. In some places he is referred to as Ludwig. He bas born in approx. 1855. I know the circumstances of his death and the approximate date from a letter my grandfather wrote in late August of 1923 .These are the facts I know: Louis was married to Augusta Miller(or Muller). She Died on late Dec. 1920 in Door County. They had eight children: Lydia, William, Frances, Frank, Hilda, Harvey, Walter, and Howard. Louis died in either late July or August of 1923 after being hit by an automobile and striking his head on the pavement. There was a settlement by the driver's insurance company. He was approximately 68 years old at the time. I believe accident occurred in or near either Wausau or Eau Claire. My grandfather wrote a letter that came from Eau Claire where his brother Harvey lived at the time. However he had other siblings living in Wausau at that time. Also the last residence I can find for Louis is Wausau. I believe that Louis was Lutheran. I hope that this is enough information to help someone to locate the death and/or burial information that I am seeking. I also wondered if the accident might have been mentioned in the local newspaper since so many fewer people drove cars back then. Eileen Tanguay
