Her son, Rev. Albert Schmirler of Orin, S.D., celebrated a requiem mass this morning at St. John the Baptist Catholic church at Wuerzburg, for her funeral. Burial followed in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Schmirler, the former Louise Gartman, was born in the town of Wilson, Sheboygan county, on June 16, 1868. After graduating from the Normal here she taught school in Sheboygan county and in the town of Frankfort. Her marriage to Mr. Schmirler took place in Sheboygan county on Nov. 25, 1909. The couple had lived in Frankfort the past 40 years. Surviving are her husband, the one son, a daughter, Sister M. Candida, St. Joseph's hospital, Marshfield, and six stepsons, Anton Schmirler, Jr., of Abbotsford, Bernard at home, Joseph of Edgar, Paul of Schofield and Edward and Hilbert of Wausau.
