Mrs. William Wiese, 74, 812 N. Second Ave., died at 10 p.m. Saturday in University Hospital, Madison, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Helke West Chapel. The Rev. Marlin Smith, pastor of First Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The former Esther Kemps was born March 7, 1893, in Wausau, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kemps. On June 25, 1919, in Wausau, she was married to William R. Wiese, who died March 27, 1965. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert Mayer, 609 N. Ninth Ave.; two brothers, Clarence Kemps, 1529 Sherman St., and Herbert Kemps, 222 N. Second Ave.; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Ainsworth, Camden, Ark., Mrs. Clara Graebel, New London, and Mrs. Karl Lillge; Ferndale, Mich.; and one grandchild.
